Powerboat 2008
Our courses run from 0930 to 1700 with a maximum of 3 students to 1 instructor.
You can book on one of our courses or we can provide instruction on a private tuition basis for 2:1 or 1:1.
Prices start from £40pp for 3:1 tuition, £50pp for 2:1 tuition and £75 for 1:1 tuition.
Courses: 2 day - £195 per person.
RYA Powerboat Level 1 - 1 day
This course gives complete beginners a good introduction to powerboating and includes low and high speed manoeuvres. These days can be arranged for a group of up to 3 people or private tuition basis on any day of the week. Please contact us to arrange a day.
RYA Powerboat Level 2 - 2 days
This course gives complete beginners a thorough introduction to powerboating and includes low and high speed manoeuvres, emergency procedures and basic maintenance.

Safety Boat Course 2 days
This course covers the skills necessary to provide safety cover to training fleets and racing fleets, including the recovery and rescue of capsized boats and windsurfers. This course is for experienced Level 2 powerboat drivers, who ideally hold a First Aid certificate. Dates TBA

CEVNI Written test (45 minutes) for European Inland Waterways.
To prepare for the written test, you will need to study the 'Euroregs for Inland Waterways’ book. This book is available from the Centre (Please note: an additional £34 is payable to the RYA for certification or is free to RYA members. You will also need to bring a passport-sized photo.)
