This will give you an introduction to sailing in a friendly and informal setting. If you choose to come back for a weekend course we will give you a £10 discount. This taster makes an ideal present for any occasion! This course provides a safe, fun introduction to sailing for complete beginners. You will learn how to rig, launch, sail and return to shore safely.
This course builds on your Level 1 skills (or previous helming experience), giving you more in-depth tuition, including sailing around a course and recovering your boat after a capsize. By the end of the course you should have the skills and confidence to be able to sail on your own in light winds.

RYA Seamanship Skills 2 days This course will improve your sailing skills, enabling you to sail in moderate winds. You will be taught how to reef afloat, recover a crew overboard, anchor, sailing backwards, sailing without a rudder or centreboard and how to recover a boat from total inversion. This course is also useful for those who want to gain skills towards becoming an instructor. SE1 Sat/Sun 2/3 June SE2 Sat/Sun 4/5 August SE3 Sat/Sun 17/18 Nov.
This course covers all you need to know to get you into the exciting world of racing at club level. Tuition will include boat tuning, boat handling, starting, racing rules, tactics and mark rounding.
This course introduces you to the thrill of sailing with a spinnaker and includes the skills needed to hoist, drop and fly a spinnaker. Further courses can be run if required.
