ICC - International certificate of competence
Written test (45 minutes) for inland or coastal.
Many countries outside the UK require the owners or drivers of powerboats to hold an International Certificate of Competence (ICC), which you will need if you intend to use a powerboat abroad.
The Powerboat Level 2 course covers the practical assessment for the ICC (pleasure craft sportsboat category). To prepare for the written test, you will need to study the 'Euroregs for Inland Waterways’ book* for the CEVNI test, or ‘Day Skipper Handbook’ for coastal waters. (Please note: an additional £34 is payable to the RYA for certification or is free to RYA members. You will also need to bring a passport sized photo.)
ICC Chartwork 2 hours
