IntroductionNorthampton Watersports Centre is based at Northampton Sailing Club alongside the picturesque Pitsford Reservoir and Brixworth Country Park, just 5 miles north of Northampton. Covering some 450 acres, this is the largest area of water in the county, providing the perfect place to learn watersports.
We run RYA dinghy sailing, windsurfing and powerboat courses throughout the year. We have something for everyone - beginners, improvers and relative experts - we welcome all levels. Open seven days a week from March to October, our enthusiastic, experienced team of RYA qualified Instructors provide a fun and safe environment for people from age 8 upwards to discover the thrill of watersports.
 We have a large fleet of modern boats and wide-style windsurf boards, making it even easier to learn to sail or windsurf. Take a look at what we have been up to recently - our picture galleries are here
We regularly work with local schools, colleges and youth groups such as scouts and guides. If you are a teacher or group leader and want to bring your group along, please visit the school & youth group pages click here. If your group have special needs or disabilities, this is no barrier for us; we can advise and work with you to enable everyone to have a good time on the water.
The Centre is recognised by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA). Office opening hours are from 9.00am to 1.00pm, Monday to Friday.
